Introducing Laser Liposculpture - Like Liposuction...Only Better!

For over a decade, women and men have turned to liposuction to permanently remove fat from their bodies. Today, we have safe laser technology to improve liposuction - resulting in Laser Liposculpture.

How Laser Liposculpture Works

Unlike liposuction, Laser Liposculpture is a simple procedure. First, a local anesthetic is applied to the skin. Patients are comfortably awake and alert. With liposuction, general anesthetic is required and the patient is not conscious during the surgery. Then, the trained board-certified doctor at Final Inches makes a very small incision and inserts a cannula, the size of a paperclip into the skin near the targeted fat. The cannula houses the FDA-approved laser, which melts the fat. The fat is then gently and permanently removed from the body. Unlike how liposuction works, which requires larger incisions and uses physical force to break up fat cells, with Laser Liposculpture, the laser gently melts the fat cells and seals blood vessels so there is significantly less bruising and swelling.

The incision made by the cannula during the Laser Liposculpture procedure is so small, it naturally heals with a band-aid or single stitch. Recovery time is minimal and most patients are back to work the very next day. Recovery from traditional liposuction can take one to three weeks and the incisions require several stitches and post-operative care.

As with any medical procedure, slight soreness and swelling may occur with Laser Liposculpture. Wearing a compression garment for four to six weeks is recommended.

The medical staff at Final Inches will review the differences between how Laser Liposculpture works and how liposuction works, the benefits of Laser Liposculpture and the potential risks during your complimentary consultation.
